Discus and support error will not go away in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; i am trying to log on and play online but keep getting the error message "The current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox Live" Its a new profile...     error will not go away


    i am trying to log on and play online but keep getting the error message "The current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox Live" Its a new profile and I just paid for the online subscription. Am I missing something?

    Every time I am on this site, it says Messages (1), but I don't have anything. I noticed it started doing this after I got a random friend request. I then denied it and that's when this started happening. It's been almost a month now and it still hasn't
    gone away.

    When I sign into my Xbox One it doesn't show up, or if I am using Smart Glass, it's only on this site.

    Any way you can fix this for me? It bugs me, thank you.

    Can you clarify when you're receiving that particular error message? Is it in a specific game or is it when you try to sign in on your Xbox One? Let us know so that we can best help you out error will not go away :)

    That's what I figured. I've seen some people have just replaced the disk drive itself, but that might be beyond me. Though it's not like I have any warranty to worry about. Hopefully I can just find a used Slim and all will be good. Thanks for the quick

    There's no sanctioned fix other than sending the console into MS for repair.



    If it was me, I'd just buy another console. I'd put an extended warranty on it as well.

    It's possible you have a friends request sent via a 360 & the sender is not on xbox one

    Click on your friends list on this site & see if there are any friends requests pending.

    I had the exact same issue & that was the problem
