    So I'm trying to install a game on the Xbox App on PC but it always gets to 90-100% then gives me this error. I have two drives on my pc, and I want to save room on my SSD that already has my OS on it, so I'm trying to install more games to my hard drive.

    Thank you for contacting the Xbox Support forums. Before we assist, please provide details regarding the troubleshooting you have attempted. Additionally, if you can answer the questions listed below, it will help us further pintpoint the error you are receiving:

    • Can you also please confirm if you have the latest Windows updates on your device?
    • Are you receiving any error codes while attempting to resume your download?
    • Are you able to download other game titles other than Forza through the Xbox app?
    While we wait for answers to the questions above, check to see if you are able to resume your download directly through the Microsoft Store app. To do this, you will need to open the Microsoft Store app > Navigate to the top right corner of the screen and select "App Settings". From here, you should be able to see if the game is attempting to download through the Store app.

    Hi,

    There is a big misunderstanding of how the Xbox App works on PC. The Xbox App is not a stand alone application like Steam, Origin or GoG Galaxy. In terms of downloading and even running games, the Xbox App is like a portal. When you chose to download a PC
    game on the App, the download is sent to the Windows Store App, and it is the Windows Store that does the download. The Xbox App doesn't download anything.

    Like wise, any error messages you get while downloading content using the App are Windows Error codes. As far as I can determine 0x8007001f is a Windows Update error.

    Have you tried to repair your Windows install using the

    Windows 10 media creation tool?
