Hi there! If you are receiving a error upon purchase, please contact Xbox Support. They will be able to try to purchase it on your account from their end. I've had to do this with both Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass and this is the only way I've ever
been able to solve this problem for myself.

Also, if the game you're trying to purchase costs more than you have in the Microsoft Account Balance, you can use the £15 first by opting to pay for the item with your credit card first. It will offer to let you use up your account balance, and then make
up the difference with the credit card. For some reason, the system does not make the same offer if you select the Microsoft Account Balance first.
