    Error When Sending Game Invites in Xbox 360 Game (Carcassonne)


    I am in the Alpha Skip Ahead. Very recently, I have been unable to send a game invite to a friend when play Carcassonne. Once I click send, I get a spinning loading symbol for an extended period of time before getting an error. My friend, who is not in the insider program was able to send me an invite.

    Are there any known issues when sending game invites in 360 games?



    EDIT: I should also note that this is happening on both my OG Xbox One and my Xbox One X. Both are in the Alpha Skip Ahead. The OG is hardwired and the X is on wifi. No issues inviting to other games, but I have not tried any other 360 games.

    Your message could not be sent.

    The "message could not be sent" error is gone, however, it is still not sending direct game invites or messages from 360 to 360.

    To play the NCAA14 Dynasty user games we have to join a party and invite from there. It is at least playable now. Not sure about other games.

    Same here - playing EA NHL Legacy on Xbox 360 - can't send game invites. Can't send any messages on Xbox 360. Can join another person's party by going to their profile and clicking join party, but can't send or receive a party invite. Even if they are in a joinable game though, the "Join Game" option does not appear on their profile, so without game invites there's no way for us to play a game together. This is awful - any fix soon?

    What happens when you try to play these games with this person? Do you see any specific error messages you can share with us?

    Also, does this happen whether you invite the person, or if they invite you?

    Additionally, does this occur both when you send invites to the person in-game and individually through the Xbox menus?
