Error when redeeming perk in xbox app

Hello,

Whenever I try to redeem any perk from the box px app it pops up with the message:

Sorry, we're having problems showing the details of this perk right now. Please try again a little later.

I'm not sure what the cause of this could be so any help would be useful.

I apologize for this issue, unfortunately, this is happening to a lot of users as well. We believe that this is a momentary instability with the perk services. Microsoft is aware of this issue, since a lot of users have reported this already, and I believe is working to resolve it as we speak. Don't know exactly a timeframe for it to be fixed, but since it is happening for quite some time now, I do believe it will not take too long at this point.

We just have to wait for the service to be normalized. I'm so sorry for your troubles.

Hello! I have the same problem as the original post, except when I use the mobile app to redeem my perks it says "Claim this perk on your Xbox or PC".

Hello everyone,

Thank you for contacting the Xbox Support forums. Typically, this error will resolve after downloading the most recent Xbox PC app updates along with updating your Windows device. Most perks may also be redeemed with a mobile device if you are temporarily receiving this error.

To redeem perks via mobile, download the Game Pass app > log into your account > select your profile picture > "show all" under Perk.

If you are still receiving this error, please open a new thread.

Unfortunately, this is a known issue that is happening to me and other users. I'm afraid we have to wait for them to fix the problem with the app. I managed to redeem some offers on my phone and console.

Far as I know there isn't an Xbox DIscord App. When you claim the perk, there will be a QR code (or whatever it is)...you need to scan that with your mobile device nd, assuming you have the mobile Discord app installed on your mobile, then you it will redeem.

Alternatively, if you have a PC, just go to the Xbox App on PC, click on the perk and it will take you to the Discord app or web page to redeem.
