Error When Purchasing "Save The World" Mode on Fortnite (Standard founder pack) XBOX ONE

What exactly did you purchase. There is no $20 fortnite item that includes save the world. If you purchased the starter pack that is all for Battle Royale.

You will need to purchase one of the Founders editions to have access to save the world

What did you not receive from the pack?

If you are indeed referring to the Standard Founder's pack, the Save the World and Battle Royal mode should have began to install after you make the purchase. If they did not, you can start the downloads from the Microsoft Store.

Please elaborate what pack you bought and what you are missing and we'll help you.

Are you talking about a Fortnite bundle code for the game itself and content, as in save the world? As Battle royale is free to install, there is a founder pack and a deluxe founder pack that comes with save the world and other items for save the world.

I'm sorry to hear about this issue not being able to play Fortnite Save the World on your PC. Unfortunately, the Founder's pack you purchased from the Microsoft Store that you linked is only usable on Xbox One. The Founder's pack for PC is purchased through

Epic's website. Fortnite Save the World is not a Xbox Play Anywhere game, so what you purchased will not work on the PC.

The forum post that you linked also has a lot of skepticism from other posters as they say they are not able to get the method to work as was stated on the original post. It doesn't seem like a valid method and Epic Games and Microsoft have it designed so
that it shouldn't work that way. The game licenses are separate from Xbox and PC and they do not share over. If you would like to play that Founder's pack on PC, you would need to buy it directly from Epic Games.
