Error when moving files or Games higher than 100 MB to External HDD

Hi Guys, I was trilled when Major Nelson anounces the new upgrades for Xbox 360, I bought a HDD case for a WD 2.5" 250 GB hard disk that I have, after assembled, I plugged it on the xbox console, it recongnizes it smotthly, format it with no errors. But
when I try to move a game from my internal HD to the external one, it begins to copy, but after a very few seconds it stops with an error message, no error code, just a message informing that something went wrong.

Anyone with the same problem?

External hard drives

Games update on the drive they're installed on. You'll have the option to move games between the internal HDD and external HDDs. By default, moving a game moves all of its associated files.

In the Storage area of System Settings, try using the Transfer Content feature rather than moving the game individually. Within the Transfer wizard, you can uncheck everything from your memory unit other than the game (or just Transfer everything).

(I think that worked for me with a Worms game that came on an MU, but I deleted it a while ago and can't be sure.)

 

Just solved it, although on my computer the HDD case works just fine, on xbox it didn´t, I took my wife´s hdd case, and use it, it works smootlhy.

Can you try formatting the 250 GB drive on your pc then connect it to the console again for use to see if that helps?
