    Error when attempting to purchase full version of Windows 10 Minecraft


    I'm interested in purchasing the full version of the Windows 10 Minecraft while its cheap. Every time I try to purchase the full version it says I do not have permission to make purchases. (Which is confusing for a start since I have always been able to
    make purchases with my account) Anyways it says to go to the privacy and online settings thing. So I do and according to all my settings I should be able to purchase the game but it still comes up with that error.

    Has anyone else had this problem? Or know how to fix it?

    I need a refund

    I purchased a windows 10 version of minecraft when I already had a minecraft launcher on my computer, and I bought an account afterwards and now I no longer require the Windows 10 version, I would like a refund of the Windows 10 version of Minecraft.

    Hi Marshmellow 630,

    I believe Brad was referring to the Java edition but his point was that the beta does not give you access to the full version of the Windows 10 edition and it will need to be bought separately. Back then you could download the Windows 10 edition for free
    if you had the PC (Java) edition when the full version of the Windows 10 edition released. I'm not sure that is the case now.

    The only information I found regarding a Minecraft Windows 10 beta was an actual beta released in 2015 to test the Windows 10 edition before the full version released. This beta was separate and had to be downloaded from the Store and does not seem to be
    a part of the full version of the game, which would need to be purchased separately.

    And the one it shows in your purchases is "Minecraft for Windows 10" not just "Minecraft" right? "Minecraft" is the console version. If you haven't purchased "Minecraft for Windows 10" you would need to purchase that in order to play it on the PC. When you get the message that it's looking for a device, it's usually looking for a console.

    there are 2 versions, minecraft windows 10 version and mojang minecraft java edition, these are 2 completely seperate games if you purchase the mojang one you still need to purchase the windows 10 version if you want that one.
