    Error: Video cannot be decoded.


    Every time I try to watch a game clip or a trailer for a game in the Xbox store I get this message. I just bought the Xbox One S 2TB and am up to date on all my software. How can I fix this?

    Game trailer video in store won't play - Message = Error: Video cannot be decoded

    Since the most recent update, I'm unable to view game trailer video. Message "Error: Video cannot be decoded" is displayed.

    I can confirm having the exact same problem on the exact same console.

    Same here. Everything was fine up until the latest update. Now, the video will start but shortly after stops with the "Error: Video cannot be decoded" message.

    Same here, I bought my new One S and set it up and went into the store to view a trailer and got the same message... The issue does not exist on my original Xbox one. I've also had this occur on my Surface Book a few times. Hope this get resolved soon.

    Same thing here. Traded my Xbox one in for a One S and now I'm getting the same error anytime I try to watch a video trailer. Is there a fix, or do I need to return the console?

    Just to clarify, is this occurring specifically on the Xbox One S console, or via streaming from the Xbox One console to Windows 10? That will help us narrow the issue down a bit.

    Could you also provide us with what games you've recently viewed in the Xbox Store that this error pops in?
