    Error using the promo codes for Gears 1 and 3


    I recently received some promo codes for Gears of War. Some of the codes did not work. Using them on Xbox one threw an error about the wrong language. Using the codes on the site threw "Something went wrong" error. The codes are for Gears of War 1 and Gears
    of War 3. Any idea what should i do to redeem the codes?

    missing codes for gears of war 3 from the ultimate edition promo.

    I'm Missing my code to download the gears of war 3 from my ultimate edition promo. i received the gears 1 and gears 2 download codes but i never received the gears 3 code and wanted to know why since it was suppose to be part of the GUE promo. Thanks

    Gears of war 1 and 3 redeemable codes not working since December

    When I pre ordered Gears 4 Ultimate edition on my Xboxone and I was given promo codes for Gears 1, 2, 3 and judgment. Now I have been unable to redeem Gears 1 and 3 xbox live tells me there is an unexpected error and I should try again later since December
    2015 and it still says the same thing when I try to redeem the codes till this moment.



    Gears 2 code and Judgment went through fine, so its just Gears 1 and 3 are the only codes I am having this issue with.

    i have the same problem. is these code available for windows xbox apps? it seem cant be download anywhere at windows store.

    Usually the issue with those codes is region related. Both games are region locked. So in order to download them, your account region has to match your physical location and you have to live in a region where the games are available

    @wulimaza - Those games are not available for Windows.

    Since these games are for the 360 (even if it is BC) they need to be redeemed through the website, or the XBOX app on windows.

    i also have the same exact problem.

    Codes for gears 2 and judgement work fine but for gears 1 and 3 give that same error.
