    I got this error a month ago and XBOX fixed it in one day. Then I got the same error again 2 weeks ago and submitted another ticket. XBOX hasn't fixed it and they want me to submit a" video showing you accessing your MyCAREER files list from the main menu,
    attempt to access the corrupted file(s) in question and then display the corruption error you're receiving - please make sure your Gamertag is visible at some point throughout the video".

    The error makes you create another myplayer (the creation)all over again. I refuse to do that as I already bought 120,000 VC plus earning over 10,000 VC that I spent, and a balance of 6,000VC I had not used. Xbox did something because I no longer get
    the error, but the Myplayer I was playing with is gone, VC and all. I feel that Xbox is just playing me because I don't get the error they want me to video. Has anyone had this issue and what is the fix? I'm really getting pissed over this.....

    Xbox 360 my hard drive don't save setting on my nba2k14 it say unable to load "settings" on hard drive. then it say the saved content is damaged or unreadable. do anybody know what is going on with this. can it be fixed.

    Unable to load user profile, unreadable or damaged

    Hello guys, I found a fix to this problem where you can't play your MyCareer cause of the unreadable or damaged problem, This problem works 100 % since I just tried it.

    So here what you do.

    1) Turn your Xbox 360.

    2) Go to Settings

    3) Go to hard-drive and click games and apps.

    4) Scroll down till you see NBA 2K13.

    5) You click NBA 2K13 and scroll down till you see a corrupted file, it should be saved game.

    6) Delete that file and click yes.

    7) Copy your MyCareer file in the same place where the first file is.

    8) Play 2K13 then make a new player.

    9) Go to settings / options where the rosters and stuff is at.

    10) Click the option, LOAD/SAVE then click on MyCareer then it would load your MyCareer with the same things you had on it.

    If you want to change your player, go to MyPlayer and all that stuff, It should load up your MyCareer with the team, SP/VC, OVR but it would only be missing the player due to you had to make a new one. I just recently did this and recovered back my MyCareer
    file.

    Tell me if this works.

    Install Halo 4 to your hard drive if possible, as it will possibly help with disc reading. However, if it is unreadable, and you're unable to install it to your hard drive the only option is to get the game again, and as Hassassinade said, you should head

    Disk unreadable

    I'm having the exact same issues with Skyrim on a On Demand copy! There is NO DVD and I still get "Disc Unreadable" whenever I load a save. This is not an xbox hardware issue, something with Skyrim itself is buggy.

    I can start a new game fine, save.. and load those saves. But trying to load my previous saves crashes. I've tried from USB, Cloud Saves, and hard drive. All fail.

    I have the same issue with Shenmue 2 and I thought of a possible workaround that I learned from changing Saturn save batteries but I worry it would damage my system. Would it be possible to load up my savegame on the old hard drive and hot swap the hard
    drives to re-save it onto a new file I have on the new hard drive? I was unable to find any information on adding or removing hard drives when they are not actively being used.

    MyCAREER file unreadable

    This just happened to me today. I spent 40000 VCs on my Player (including 560 Microsoft points I purchased) and now 18 games in I get the error message: "Unable to load "myplayer" on memory unit. The saved content is damaged or unreadable. Press A to
    continue". This happened last month when I lost 37000 VCs, and I thought it was just me, so I re-created and now reinvested time and money on a new player and, same thing. Is there any way I can retrieve this file? Or get back my invested VCs and Microsoft
    points? Please help! This is frustrating and unfair.
