    I am having a ridiculous difficulty to try to buy a game this promotion with backward compatibility ... or rather, do not buy. I just spoke to an attendant support xbox Brazil and she said that this is only happening for the backward compatibility shopping,
    and many others! In my case or with account balance (gift cards) can buy ... pitiful. I added money for nothing. I want to see if they will do something for me! deadly hatred! ...

    It depends on what you're trying to buy. The Microsoft account balance is not available for everything. So if you're trying to buy backwards compatible games through the One or a subscription, you would need a credit card or PayPal on file.

    I'm trying to buy Halo Reach on Xbox.com, in anticipation of it becoming available for backwards compatibility on Xbox One, but the purchase won't go through. I just get the following error: "Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please
    try again."

    As far as I can tell, there's no error code that comes along with it. I don't own an Xbox 360 anymore, and only have an Xbox One; could that be why the purchase won't go through? I'm trying to pay with a credit card registered on my account (and buy games
    on the Xbox One itself works fine for me).

    If you are trying to buy it on a xbox one or here on xbox.com then you need a credit/debit card or paypal to buy the game.

    I cannot purchase some Xbox-360 games on my Xbox-One, so how do I purchase Xbox-360 games for the Xbox-One on Xbox.com?

    The game is a backwards compatible game so you will be buying the 360 version of the game (there is no One version). So even though it says it will download to the 360, you will be able to play and download it on the One.

    Typically that the message about needing to buy on xbox.com or on a 360 comes up if you're on a child account or trying to make the purchase via your Microsoft account balance. In order to purchase backwards compatible content on the One/website, you have
    to use a credit card or Paypal.
