    ERROR: The current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox Live


    I ran 2 360's on the standard issue router from my local ISP with no issues for many years. I definitely don't know all the ins & outs of a home network, but we're getting all the services with being on live, just not able to get into BO3 with this error
    message. I've been looking at numerous forums and this appears to be a problem many people are having.

    @rip , standard issue router from you isp (need model and # ) wont support 2 xbox ones properly , somethings may work on one or the other for a while but it wont be right unless you get a modem ONLY and a router that does upnp well , 2 Xboxes will fight
    over the same ports and without a proper router to route the traffic , conflicts will happen...

    @ Rip ,This is from the "Known Issues " page on that Gateway ....

    Multiple Console Support:

    We have confirmed that this network device is unable to support more than one console with an Open NAT.

    and I'm not saying that this is your "at the moment" issue , I'm just saying a lot of these problems go away with a better connection ...

    Ok & thanks. As mentioned I'm not tech savvy, can you recommend a good router for multiple consoles?

    I have a netgear cable modem and a netgear wrn2000 (bestbuy 50 bucks) ...works good , I would still recommend hard wiring them as I cant say for sure you can do it wireless , some have had luck others ...not so much...
