    Hi, I am French so, I am sorry for my english who is not very good.

    My problem: I bought a xbox 360 slim 4go and she didn't want to make an update, so I go on the website support.xbox.com and I follows the steps to update who are to:

    -install the update on a usb key (32gb) with my computer

    -put the key on my xbox 360

    -uninstall the previous update with the code "lb,rb,x,lb,rb,x"

    -restart the xbox

    And it's work, my xbox do the update.

    But, since the update, I can't delete any profil, apps or save, when I restart, they come back (just before, I try to transfer all of these on my key but i didn't work and now, my profil are corrupted, the key was format on the xbox).

    The xbox freeze if i try to connect with internet and xbox live.

    I try to format the 4go hdd but i have this message: "Some components of the Xbox are missing or damaged. A system update is necessary to replace them. Your console will now restart."

    At the start of the xbox, she sometimes ask me to do an update but I have the same message...

    I search during hours on the xbox support website and on google but I didn't find any solution.

    There is a way to hard reset the xbox ?

    I do not have the money to send to the service after sale

    Please help me

    Ps: when I try to chat on the chat with the french support, I'm blocked by my xbox live account because I don't have my name and first name on my live settings (who are the same of my mail settings, but my mail settings have my name...)

    If your Xbox 360 has failed because of the E74 error, you’ll see the following message on the screen when you turn on your Original Xbox 360 console:

    System Error. Contact Xbox Customer Support.

    If you see this error message, you must repair your console. The warranty period for the E74 error is three years from the original purchase date of the console. If the warranty period expires, you’ll have to pay for the repair.

    Error system on xbox 360

    Your internal storage unit is failing. Your console needs to be serviced/replaced, there's nothing you can do to fix it.
