Error redeeming Fallout 3 Digital for Xbox One

Helle there,

as i said before, i cant redeem Fallout 3 on my Xbox One. I bought the Xbox One 1TB Edition with Fallout 4 on DVD and Fallout 3 as Digital Download.

Every time i try to redeem the game, i get the error message that an error occured, on Xbox and xbox.com aswell.

I read some Forums and they suggested to change my zone to US zone. Now the game is regonized as Fallout 3, but in the second step the message is something went wrong. I also asked one of my friends in NYC to try it, because i thougt maybe they recognized
my german IP, but it just wont work.

Need HELP

FALLOUT 3 CODE WILL NOT REDEEM

Hello,

I purchased Fallout 4 and it had a redemption key for the download of Fallout 3. When redeeming it, whether on PC or on the Xbox One, I encounter error 0x80153016. Could you please help me get my Fallout 3? I can't possibly enjoy Fallout 4 before I finish Fallout

Free Fallout 3 code with digital purchase of Fallout 4

Promotion name: “Free Fallout 3 code with digital purchase of Fallout 4”

Date of purchase: January 4, 2016

I get error code 0x80150017 when I try to redeem my Fallout 3 code.

Additional comments: I received my code on January 13. I've tried redeeming the code, but get the same error. I was directed by customer support in chat to post this thread.

When you receive the error message you should see an error code. If you can post that code, it will help narrow down the issue.

The game is region locked though. So in order to download the game, your account region and your physical location has to match in order to download it. So if you're in Germany, your account needs to be set to Germany and the code has to be for Germany.

Use Xbox One Smart glass or the Xbox website. I had the same problem 2 months ago. I got it used from GameStop and I was lucky enough the code that was left in the case was not redeemed.
