error redeeming cold code

I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.

Any ideas? It just suggests trying again later.

 

Having problems with a Code

Have you tried redeeming the code on the website and the console? What error message/error code do you receive when you try redeeming on the console?

 

Try on the console. Do you get an error message there? If so, what is the code?

 

yes, the same error on the console. The gold code should be ok but doesn't work, got it from
[Mod Removed] by email

 

Also having a the same issue - tried on xbox.com, xbox console and commerce.microsoft.com

Should be a different error code on the console. What does the text say? Is there an error code starting with 8?

 

IIRC (not at home now) it tells me that the payment option is invalid.

 

After much clicking around I finally got to a screen where I can view the subscription on the console.

Code here is: 807B01F7

Text reads "Sorry, there's a problem with the Xbox service. Try again Later...."

If I try the same steps on another account on the same console (with a Free Live account) I see the account details just fine.

 

What you can do is try this:
support.xbox.com/.../error-code-lookup. Seems like other people on the forum was able to add their codes after their current gold runs out.
