error pop on screen recording

I’m sorry to hear you’re having some trouble when trying to use the screen recording feature on your device. Let’s try to sort this out.

However, before that, I would like to ask some questions:

Are you trying to use the feature on Xbox, or PC?
If you’re on a PC, may I know which Windows version are you using, 11 or 10?

What’s the error code you see when trying to use the feature?
A screenshot or picture of the message is highly appreciated.

Are you trying to use the Xbox Game Bar to record the screen? Type "Xbox" (or press the "Windows icon + G" on the keyboard) to start the "Xbox Game Bar."





You can also use third-party screen recorder apps such as Bandicam or OBS to record your computer screen.

Thanks for the detailed response. It didn't help the issue and I still don't have any of the settings pop up. I can access the game bar but it won't let me screen record or edit screen recording settings which are what I need.

Hello again, yes I saw, if the program only shows this error when trying to record Auto Cad, I can not tell you if it is any incompatibility of the program with Windows Bar, my suggestion is that try other free screen recording programs like:

Apowersoft Screen Recorder.

Movavi Screen Recorder.

Camtasia.

Streamlabs OBS.

Ezvid.

BlueBerry FlashBack Express Recorder.

OBS Studio.

Rylstim Screen Recorder

Non of that helped the first time you suggested it. i have no problem bring the game bar up, the problem i have is getting it to record.

I hit windows+G game bar pops up, i hit record it lags my screen and does not record.
