    i booted up my series x yesterday and it kept on giving me error codes i tried to load on to games but it would not allow.I thought that if i left it turned off with no power attached for the whole night it would be fine in the morning (i didnt work). earlier on i watched a video telling me to restart my xbox completely which i did, now i am sat here with an error popped up on my screen saying "error code 0x8B0500B6 0x00000000 0x00000201" it also says "you need thus update to your console, but something went wrong" can anyone help me pls i beg.

    Hi Tarinm! My name is Ricardo an independent advisor ready to help you with this situation!

    Please perform a power cycle reset, follow these steps:

    Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    Restart your Xbox console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox controller to open the Power Center. Select Restart console and then select Restart. (If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button  on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.)

    After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    If this doesn't work, please try using a mobile hotspot to connect te Console to the network and then install the update

    First we would want to verify that your subscription is correctly applied to your account. This can be done by viewing the

    Services & subscriptions    .

    Once you have confirmed that you do have your subscription, go ahead and take a look at the

    Xbox 360 Connection Error Solution     wizard, and see if some of those steps work for you!

    I just want to clarify somethings with you

    • I was just wondering, where are you receiving this status report?
    • Is what you're trying to do is playing multiplayer games online?
    • Is this the only game that is doing this?
    If you can provide for us this additional info, we should be able to further identify what is the cause of this.
