Error : Please try a different payment option

The error states : This payment option is used on as many accounts as it is allowed to be. Remove it from those accounts and try again, or add a different payment option. (while trying to get 1 month free xbox live)

I put my Paypal account for 2 accounts, mine and my brother's because he wanted xbox live. After this error I removed the paypal account on my brother's account and it still tells me that. His account is IPPPOOOPIJQQPOO (weird gamertag I know haha)

My only method of payment is Paypal... what shsould I do?

You can go to Sign in to your Microsoft account to check your payment option for all the accounts you have to ensure it is not being used elsewhere.

Also, if you believe that someone else is using your card then you should check your bank account for unauthorized payments and submit a claim if there are.

when i tried to renew my xbox live subscription i got this message: Please try a different payment option
This payment option is used on as many accounts as it is allowed to be. Remove it from those accounts and try again, or add a different payment option.
And i am 150% positive that i am using this payment option (debit card) only for this xbox live account (actually i have only one account). I dunno what to do. maybe someone hacked my account and used for his/her account?
