    Issues with Xbox Live

    My friend cant play his digital games. I sometimes getter an error message when a try to play mines, but it works after a few attempts.

    Error Playing Games.

    Hey Ace,

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention, let's try to get you back online! We suggest you try performing a

    power cycle     on your console by doing the following:

    1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
      Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
    3. Plug the console power cable back in.
    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One

    did you get this error only with physical games (on a disc) or also with digital games?

    The two games that I am trying to play are NBA2K13 & Black Ops 2. They both are installed on my hard drive, but it still needs to recognize & read the disc in the tray so I can play. Thats where my problem comes in. It does it with all my games. I have
    already done everything that guide tells me & I still have the problem.

    Sorry to hear that you can't play your games :( . Sounds like you may need to have your console repaired if you're unable to play anything and the disc drive solution hasn't helped. You can log a repair request at myservice.xbox.com.
