Error PBR9002- can't buy games online in China

Hi everybody,

I afraid that I have the same issue... In my case I bought the console here... I just spent almost 500 euros buying something that literally I cannot use... I downloaded Killer Instinct and Titanfall (I got the last one for free)... Both of them I cannot
play online and the worse thing is that the xbox keeps saying me that I cannot play even offline because I cannot connect xbox live...

I feel so stupid... I have spent so much money for nothing... I am regretting everyday have bought this machine... Please, I am in Shanghai. Somebody can told me what can I do, or if I can sell it...

Well, this it's me again after few months.

I need to say few things that I didnt say after posting my last comment.

About the issue of playing games without being connected, it was because I didnt set up the xbox as my personal xbox. And after that it is not verifying every single time that I play a game if it is mine or not. It was my mistake! And I thing I needed to
say this clear. It is going fine, no problems about this.

About the internet connection. Since couple of months ago is going much much better. I can play online, see videos and normal things that I can do in my original country.

Anyway, it is seems that with the xbox one launch next month, things are going better for xbox live here in china!

Seems the error is back. PBR9002 and I can't buy anything anymore.

I hate to turn this into the usual PS4 comparisons and such... but I feel it needs to be said.

I have numerous friends that have picked up ps4 's here in China, and their live content works smoothly. In the modern world, lost of people simply move around a lot. It appears that Sony understands this and makes things simple for their gamers. I hate
to say it after being a loyal supporter for so many years, but Microsoft is becoming very difficult to defend. I bought a 600 freaking dollar system (after taxes), and now Microsoft is telling me I'm not allowed to move? WHY? Why does Sony allow their customers
the "right" to move to a different country, but Microsoft does not?

Seriously though... does anybody know a way around this? It took me so long to save up and buy this consul. It really was a big investment for me. And now it's pretty much useless. I really do feel that Microsoft doesn't care about their customers.

I would guess that since the Xbox One hasn't yet been released in China, the Market place won't be functioning out there. Either that or you need to use a Chinese credit card. you could try purchasing some prepay Xbox credit in china maybe that would work?
