    Error on xbox one S while installing OSU


    Hello everyone!
    I have 2 xbox one S. One of them can't launch any game cause it backs to the home screen when loading the game. I purchased an other one and worked fine but i broke the HDMI connector which only works when HDMI cable is slightly bent. Someone told me to switch the HDD cause it causes the games to crash. I moved the HDD from the HDMI broken one to the one that can't launch games. I isntalled the HDD and did the offline update via USB and installed the OSU and works fine but still can't launch any games.
    The broken HDMI one i can get signal but need to slighlt move the cable to work. But i can't install the system update via USB. It starts and stops at 1% and the power off sounds come out. I tried all the OSU files the 1 2 and 3. I get the Error E101 00000504 8B050041 when trying to install the same OSU that worked on the other console. I tried switching the HDD back and forth but still didn't work.
    My OS is 26100.3353.amd64fre.xb_flt_2502ge.250203-2200
    Can someone tell me how to install the OSU to the console? Cause i can install it to the other one but not the one that will run games
    Or maybe tell why my games won't launch on the other console ? Thanks!

    New to Xbox One S/X, Differences in OSU files from Xbox Site?

    Is the original Xbox one?

    If yes, as I said previously you need to install first OSU 2 or 3 before OSU 1

    So, try installing first OSU 2 and then OSU 1 (download the one available on the Step 5 using the offline update link shared previously

    if the error appears again, install OSU 3 first and then OSU 1

    E101 00000504 8B050041 Error code after downloading the latest update

    I had the same problem with my xbox. My issue is fixed now. I was getting error code E101 00000504 8B050041 while updating my xbox offline. The error came because I was trying to flash the same os which was already there on my xbox. MS just released a new
    update yesterday. You just need to download the OSU1 file again and flash it.

    Hopefully that will work for you as well.
    Hey, the latest update just refuses to install on my xbox for some reason, and even both OSU 1 and 2 files don't seem to work. But the OSU2 file gives the error the OP mentioned above, while the OSU 1 gives another error E101 00000907 80070570, any ideas?

    I have installed a new drive but I am keep getting an update error and the system will not take the latest OSU from MS download. Either the Xbox is knackered or the OSU will not install as its not up to this version. Could this be the case?
    Any help would be much appreciated, or if I can get hold of the correct OSU. Thanks

    If you have taken your Xbox One console apart and replaced the internal hard drive then this may result in your console from being banned from connecting with Xbox Live.

    Thank you for coming to the forums. I'm sorry to say but if the issue continues after power cycling then unfortunately the console will need to be repaired or replaced as from what I've seen E102 system errors will need to be fixed by certified Microsoft
    technicians.

    Did you try all of the OSU files? I believe there is OSU 1, OSU 2, and OSU 3 from the

    OSU troubleshooting guide    .

    I have the same problem. When I install osu 2 from error e101. And my console is from 2013. No one can help me. The people at xbox are useless, because they only know that they need to take the console for repair.

    i'm in doubt if i should buy the Series X
