    Error on System Update -- can't find error code!


    Getting a message on update stating:

    Update Error: 0x8b050084 0x00000000 0x00000200

    When searching for the error status code I can't find anything. Can someone help please?

    Hey there Mower!

    Have you tried
    Troubleshooting Xbox updates

    If you get an error code after console software update fails, try and see if you can find your error code listed

    here!

    If your still stuck, post back the error code if you receive one.

    If you get an error code after console software update fails, try and see if you can find your error code listed

    here!

    I can not find any information on that error code.

    It is not listed in the software update errors list. support.xbox.com/.../software-update-errors

    My suggestion is to look in storage and try to find the update. May be named something funny. Remove that if it is there. And try to re-download.

    If you can't find anything you can roll back and re-download the update by going to setting>>System>>Storage press these buttons: X,LB,RB,X,LB,RB,X confirm and reboot console then confirm the update

    You could also try clearing the system cache though I don't think it will help much but it might.
