Error: Not being able to read disc's info! Please read.

The current patch for the Xbox One is what is causing the Xbox One's to not be able to read the disc's. I personally have gone through the process of returning it to the store that I purchased it at, but to be honest if you can wait it out it will be fixed
in the next day or so. I was on the phone with Microsoft practically all day yesterday and I'm pretty positive it will be fixed soon. Just stay patient everyone (I know we shouldn't have to stay patient, but things happen. It is technology after all)

How I Know: Tested 12 Xbox One's. lol

Xbox Wont read disc's.

Whenever I put in black ops to play it, it says reading.....then, open tray. and the day before that it was saying "disc unreadable" and now today its not even reading the disc and i've washed it, went to xbox support and did all the steps, and I tried putting
in different games but it did the same thing to them too, and i have been all over the internet for answers and what I think happened is that the tray is loose or something or the laser is broken but what I want to know is if I should send it into xbox support
for repair or if there's an easy way to fix this.

 

Help Xbox Won't Read Disc's!!!

Please help me my xbox will not read my disc's sometimes for hour or days even how can i fix it with out having to replace my xbox?

I really hope they at least fix it today or tomorrow...

Just got of the phone with a support tech . I am currently installing the update on console number 4 im hoping this one will work. He told me that if you cannot exchange the console to use this:

support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool

And apparently that will also fix the bugged os from the previous update. I do not know for sure if this just another bs statement or not.When i asked him why they didnt just post that in the forums for people as a solution he said oh ya good point we will
look into it . They also offered me 3 months gold for compensation. Nowhere near enough for the headache if you ask me but anyways. If this time around it does not work for me i will try that option you need a 2gb flash drive for this to work. If not then
it will be money back. Im hoping this last console exchange and update right now will be the working update. Ill keep everyone posted.

 

@Misses Quinzel I have been through 12 Xbox One's in 3 days so I would like to have it fixed not be told to return it to get another broken one.

 

Using the 4th console finally fixed it for me now i still cant play because i have to wait 8 million hours to install all the apps and games i want to use...uggg im not really impressed with this thing so far man. Might have to just move on. I mean really
4 days now finally got the bug fixed and i still cant play .Why does everything need to be installed should be able to toss a cd in and play like the 360.
