I just received the Xbox One X I bought but I have an error during the update at startup !

Error Code: 0x8007045D 0x00000000 0x90070005

Original Xbox 360 E74 error message- Solution

If your Xbox 360 has failed because of the E74 error, you’ll see the following message on the screen when you turn on your Original Xbox 360 console:

System Error. Contact Xbox Customer Support.
E74

If you see this error message, you must repair your console. The warranty period for the E74 error is three years from the original purchase date of the console. If the warranty period expires, you’ll have to pay for the repair.

help new 360 update failed w/error code

Help, not finding anything in search. tried MS support suggestions with no help. Just bought a new xbox and have had numerous consoles so not new to xbox. selected the update after logging into profile and the console froze. I only have access to a MAC but I am sure the file downloaded from the MS site is on the USB drive now getting the same bs error code.

if I recall correctly that specific error code '0x8007045D' usually is caused by a network issue.

So it's best to double check the connection and if possible try a wired connection (if it isn't wired) and then try to run the update again

If all seems fine network wise then try this trouble shooting page to try an offline update Xbox One System Updates | Offline System Updates to see
if that fixes the issue

This very much sounds like a hardware fault and because of the store being closed you will have to send it in for repair.

If its brand new its probably updating in the background , I would hard reset it (hold xbox logo for 8 seconds) when it powers down , unplug it for 5 minutes , then bring it back up ...at that point you could try again or just wait a little while before
you try it again...
