    Error message when playing attempting to play MCC online, multiplayer not allowed


    Whenever I try to play online matchmaking in Halo: Master Chief Collection, I receive this error message:

    "Multiplayer not allowed. The multiplayer feature is blocked due to your Xbox Live settings. Please make sure you have the correct Xbox Live account and your Family Settings are turned off"

    Neither my console nor my account have ever had family settings placed on them. I am the sole user of the console and account. Restarting the console has done nothing. I even double checked my account settings, and they say that I should be able to play
    online. Other similar troubleshooting threads have not offered any helpful advice.

    Most likely something happen to xbox core services but dont worry it will be fixed and remember xbox is trying there best to fix this problem jus wait and xbox will keep you updated

    Hey M1ller2005! Do you get an error message or code when trying to play multiplayer before 10pm? Additionally, is the account you are attempting to play multiplayer with an adult account or a child account? Post back and let us know!

    Are there any specific error messages or error codes you get when you attempt to go online?

    Communication suspensions disable mic/messaging/etc, but you are still able to play multiplayer. Do you also have any other "regular" suspensions on top of your current one? You can check in your Enforcement history.
