Error message "turtle"

Hi everyone, I've just recently brought an xbox one along with destiny and halo, now halo works great but destiny i cant even get on and come up with the error message "Failed to download configuration files from bungie servers, please try again. For more
information, visit help.bunige.net and search for error code: turtle" I've done this and followed every instruction and still no luck, can anybody help me with this? I have a BT home hub 5 running fiber optic, i get great speeds, no packets loss and my NAT
is open, im completely out of ideas what to do, any help you be great!

Sorry to hear about the issue you are having. If you want to set up port forwarding you can go to
portforward.com. There is a complete walkthrough on how to set it up. Generally don't use a range just the port that is stated which you can get at

Xbox one Ports.

Hi, having this same issue, currently looking at the port forwarding aspect, it's asking for specifics ranges etc, ideas? Or is there a simpler solution.

 

You probably have tried it already, but in case you haven't, uninstall and reinstall. It might not do anything, but it can't hurt. You might want to try unplugging the box for 30 seconds. Again, it won't hurt and might help.

 

I have the same issue. Brand new Xbox one with Titanfall and Destiny. Titanfall works fine. I've tried uninstalling and 're-installing with no success. I've also changed from wireless network to network cable. Any suggestions?

 

I've actually managed to sort mine now are you with BT? If so what you need to do is on your Xbox open up internet explorer and then log in to your BT router and that sorts every issue! If your not on BT then I don't have a clue.. Hope this helps

I'm with BT and the BT HomeHub 5 router has a "smart device setup wizard". Opening internet explorer showed the BT page asking for parental controls. Now that's set up, it looks like Destiny is working.
