Error message: "The current profile is not allowed to play on xbox live"

I receive this message as I try to play Call of Duty Black Ops 3: "The current profile is not allowed to play on xbox live"

My account is not banned, I have xbox live gold etc. Everything I need I think to play. It is not allowing me to.

Can someone please help

I'm new to Xbox live, I've set up and have a connection, however I am receiving an error saying "current profile is not allowed Ito play Xbox live" what do I do?

On here, your showing as a silver member, as your gamertag is not Gold coloured like my name. If it is this account your trying to use to play on Xbox Live, then thus the reason why you are not able to play online. Thus the reason why you receive this error
message.

If I am mistaken, and it is a second account your using, which is a gold member, then please check your subscriptions on your Microsoft account at:
account.microsoft.com/services. It will show you the active, and non active, subscriptions you have, or had, on your Microsoft account.

If you still find that you have an active gold subscription, please try to remove your profile from your Xbox One console and try re-downloading it back onto your console. This should update everything for you.

Hey Dopier, I'm guessing its the same issue as most people are having. So far, i haven't seen a helpful response from Treyarch, Activision, or Microsoft even with the growing number of posts on each of their support forums. All of the factory resetting,
deleting and re-downloading, modem/router power cycles, has not helped. Today is day 5 for me and no answers.

You both are now showing as Gold users, so can you please try accessing the online features again please?

Now the system is showing you as a gold member, you should not (in theory) have any problems accessing the online features.
