Error message regarding xbox connection Microsoft Sudoku

Trying to sign in to Microsoft Sudoku, get the following error "A connection to Xbox could not be established. Please check your Internet connection and try again"

Internet connection is fine, able to visit web sites (NOT cached), and also to sign into Microsoft Solitaire Collection. Has been this way for at least 12 hours.

anyone else having problem connecting to Sudoku? I can connect to other Microsoft xbox free games (solitaire, for example), but not to Sudoku. Error message is "A connection to XBOX could not be established. Please check your internet connection" Just
started yesterday, has been working fine before that.

 

Problems signing into Microsoft Suduko

I've had problems signing into Microsoft Sudoku, keeps saying problems connecting to Xbox, check connections and try again.

Problem started yesterday (23/1/18). Ok for solitaire and jigsaw. Then today got this message

It came up in the ! News for Microsoft Sudoku box. I tried looking up the code but it didn't have it on the support site.

Yeah a bit frustrating that no one from support ever seems to respond to these posts . This is happening because something is BROKEN at their end. Nothing to do with timing out, or my internet connection

In case anyone from support is monitoring this thread, there has been a change. Now the system is allowing me to sign in to Xbox, but when I choose daily challenges, I get the following message " A general error occurred. Please
refer to error code 009000"

 

OK progress. Now I can sign in to Xbox, and it shows me that today's challenges have been completed. BUT IT TELLS ME THAT THE CHALLENGES FROM THE FIRST 22 DAYS OF THE MONTH HAVE NOT BEEN COMPLETED, WHEN IN FACT THEY HAVE BEEN. ALL DAYS, ALL CHALLENGES.

 

I am having the same problem. I have been having this problem for at least 24 hours, possibly ass long as 36 hours.

Back to not being able to sign in - at least 12 hours and counting. So no idea if the other problems are still there, because I can't even sign in to check. What a dog's breakfast.

 

OK five minutes after last post, able to sign in and play today's challenges. Checked calendar - nothing marked as complete before Jan 23. Checked history - no history of badges earned last 6 months. I have completed ALL challenges last 6 months. You
have lost all my history before Jan 23.

And you keep asking me to give you a 5 star rating. I was generous and gave you 2 stars. Next time will say what I really think.

 

OK sees like the problem has been fixed. When I signed in today I had all the old history back. It showed I had not completed the past 2 days (the period when the system was broken) which is an outcome I can live with. Easy to redo 2 days challenges.

 

Best thing you can do is report the issue as soon as you are aware of it. Support are often unaware there is an issue until someone reports it. And if a number of people report it, they are more likely to take the issue seriously.
