Error message preventing me from using games

l[Error: “Sorry, we can’t complete your request. A factory reset of your console should fix the problem. You can do this without losing your installed games and apps. (0x87af000d)” I am greeted with this message when I attempt to boot up some of my games. I have, of course, tried factory resetting the console, however, there seems to be a 2-3 day period where the error goes away, but after the 2-3 days it starts happening again, and all the games you have not played during said period will give you the error message afterwards, and fail to boot up. There is also another error sometimes shown reading, “Clear some space. Your Xbox doesn’t have enough room for this. [this shows no matter size of game] To install it, uninstall something else, and try again. (0x80073cf4)” It says this while trying to boot up an already installed game, not trying to install one. I also have 168.6 GB free, and my biggest game is 122.3GB. [Red Dead Redemption 2] This message appears even with my smallest game, Terraria, at 409.5MB.

What exactly prevents you from starting your games?

Does the game show the splash screen on initial startup, and then returns you to the home screen again?

If so, hold the power button on the console for about 10 seconds, then start the console again.

Do you get an error message that prevents the game start? If so, please tell us the error message.

Does the game start and show you a main menu, but when you start or load a save does the game crash then?

What prevents you from messaging your friends or joining a LFG? Do you get an error message?

And what prevents you from playing since there are no restrictions? What does the alert or error message say?

Okay, now this is just bizarre; now it works? For the last few minutes I've been inputting the same exact email and password over and over(I don't even know why I was doing it, because I knew I'd just keep getting that same error over and over. After burning
out my brain from sheer anger, I guess my body went on autopilot for a while), and for some reason on maybe the 6 or 7th try I was able to sign in just fine?

Well... at least I won't have to call the Support Line now, but... what happened to make it just work now? Was it some bizarre glitch in the system that's been preventing me from signing in for weeks now, or did me just stubbornly doing the same thing repeatedly
finally get it to work? I've done nothing different today in my attempts to sign in versus my previous attempts.

I'm so confused. I'm relieved that it's over and that I can finally play the games I've bought fair-and-square, and yet I'm perplexed and annoyed that it seemingly resolved itself on its own with no real clear solution for me to learn from. Well, thanks
