error message pop up "your xbox live has no permission to access..."

Are you playing on the same account you're using to post here?

This account is only Silver (free tier) and thus is not allowed to play multiplayer.

Only Gold accounts are allowed to play multiplayer.

playing PVZ and is having an error message "Your Gamer Profile does not have the correct permission to access Xbox Live functionality."

I have recently purchased an Xbox One S. When I launch a game (any game) I am getting an error message which says: "Your account does not have the correct permission to access Xbox LIVE functionality".

Check ur XBOX Live membership, maybe ur gold membership has expired this message: "Your profile does not have permission to access GTA Online.?'' IS showing when u don't have an active xbox gold membership. Cheers

Alright thanks, I didn't expect it to be instant but what does bother me is that the error message is misleading, instead of group not found it should be you are not in this group therefore you cannot access it ... so I don't know if this is an actual group
not found error or just a misleading permission problem which also brings me to the other problem when I go to edit my own post it says access denied, you don't have permissions to edit this post also on top of that when sitting on the page pops up a dialog
box saying there was an error please contact the administrator well those are other issues.
