Error message on redeem code

I have just got Metal gear solid ground zeroes and with it i got a add on code and i have tryed the bar code as well as typeing in the 25 digit code and got an error message and try again later

I have tryed looking for this code but cant find it.

I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.

Any ideas? It just suggests trying again later.

you don't have to input the code. On the bottom of the message there should be a button to redeem code.

 

Where did you redeem it? Console or web?

If on console, try doing it here instead --
account.xbox.com/.../RedeemCode

If you already tried there, do it from the console itself. You could say "Xbox, Use a Code" to be taken to the relevant screen immediately.

It's the 25-character code you want to redeem, not the bar code.

 

yes have tried to do this though my xbox one with bar code and entering the 25 digit code and I have tried to do this also though xbox live web site and still not working either in united kingdom setting or us setting.

 

Try again later and see if the problem persists, and update this thread.

However, you do want to make absolutely certain you have the right region settings when you do this. Don't go changing those when you're redeeming as that can cause even more problems and, at worst, make the content unavailable to you.

Right 3 days ago I put my problem on here and still I cant redeem my code any where on my console or on xbox live on my pc .
