Error Message: "Can't get Teredo IP Address"

My Xbox One has been working fine. No issues. All of the sudden, yesterday, I couldn't play Destiny because it said I had connectivity issues. I waited and tried again with the same results. My internet works fine for everything else. I started looking
at the troubleshooting guide, and found that NAT is showing that I'm behind a firewall (or not connected). I've tried turning the firewall off & placing the Xbox One in the DMZ, but nothing works. My internet connection comprises of a DSL modem & a seperate
router running DD-WRT firmware. All devices have been power cycled. From what I've read, the only sure fire way to correct this is a complete factory reset which will reaaaaaaalllly suck! There has got to be another solution to this issue??!!??

Teredo IP Address

After having Xbox One for a couple months, it now can't find/get Teredo IP Address (error message) for multi-player connection?

So if I understand you right, you did not have that Teredo IP issue ever before that point? If so, please do a factory reset on your xbox One as this is the only solution on this issue. We had already some more reports on that problem, where they were no
problems before at all and then out of a sudden the users experienced Teredo IP errors. Only solution working was always the factory reset of the One

 

So help me understand this: if I do a factory reset, I'll lose all of my downloaded games and local game saves. Correct? If so, is there any way to preserve this data to re-apply after the reset?

To me, a factory default reset is not the correct way to address this. In my opinion, the problem should be identified and corrected.

 

Well, your save games data are stored in the cloud so they will be resynchronized when starting the game. All your digital purchases are bound to your profile, so you are able to reinstall them after a factory reset again. They can be found in the games
and apps section on the very far right at "ready to install". So you don't need to worry about losing anything.

I can clearly understand your dissatisfaction with the procedure of a factory reset but unfortunately there is no other working solution available/known at the moment. There is no possibility to just reset the network configuration for example.
