Error message 42?

I cannot post a link as I am using IE via my 360, but if you will search E42 here or via Bing/Google. You'll likely find a solution. Or you can simply Phone Xbox Customer support at 18004MYXBOX.

Do you receive any particular error message or codes that you can provide to us? An error code would resemble either XBOS-0000 or 0x00000000. Having that information will help us out.

I am having this same issue, i tried buying xbox live through the store on my console and kept getting same message, so i bought it on the website and when i try to redeem it i get the message again. xbox.com/status says eveything is up and working. pls
help

The WiFi is perfect on other devices, plus when I test my connection from the Xbox it stays at 42 ping and 0% packet loss despite the error codes for connection issues
