Thanks for the quick reply. Sadly it didn't fix the issue.

I've tried to access the 'WindowsApps' folder on my C drive to have a look into 'GameLaunchHelper.exe' that initially pops up as an error (see screenshot above of me trying to open 'The Outer Worlds' game), but my PC says I do not have permission to get to it. Could getting to that particular file and doing something to it help fix the problem? Or is their another solution that might help?

Well I assume by following your first instruction I did indeed reinstall Windows 10 already.

The only game I can open is 'Halo Infinite' as its a free to play game online (that doesn't require pc gamepass). So the fact that I can open that game on the Xbox app tells me it may be a pc gamepass issue.

Do you know how I could contact a Microsoft employee to check out my account (and possibly give me a refund if im out of luck)?

I understand that Steam and Epic applications are working fine. To be honest, Xbox is an inbuilt application if somehow it is a File system error that got corrupted and is unable to be restored or repaired through a reset, reinstall, updating, and troubleshooting then I am sorry to say that you have to reinstall Windows 10 if possible.

1. Click on "Download tool now"
2. Double-click the MediaCreationToolxxxx.exe file to launch the tool.
3. Click the Accept button to agree to the Microsoft terms.
4. Select "Upgrade this PC now" and click 'Next"
5. If you see 'ready to Install scree' on top then click 'Install' will start the installation process.

Note: During the installation process, the PC will restart a few times. For the remaining process please follow the on-screen 'Privacy' & 'Cortana' setup.
