Error message 0x80070005

Hi

I have been playing Jurassic Park operation Genesis 2 with game pass on my PC the last few weeks. When I tried playing the game yesterday it said the game needed to update and was not going that. I then uninstalled the game a tried downloading it again but now receive the error message every time.

I do not think i have made any changes to my system but I recall there was a new windows update but I am sure I have played the game since installing the update.

any Ideas?

No? I didn't install it from the Microsoft Store, it was an old version,

from a GitHub repo.

But, it didn't work, the error is still

App installation failed with error message: error 0x80070005: Opening the package from location RobloxUWP-2.592.586.0-cerealwithmilk%20(3).Msixbundle failed. (0x80070005),

Thanks for offering support to me, I tried again today to install the game and it downloaded and played without any issues. I followed a video on youtube last night and maybe that helped.

Again thanks for reaching out and now it works fine.

1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

The system will ask you if you want to run CHKDSK after restarting the system, press Y on your keyboard and then type "Exit" and restart the computer, it will scan in DOS mode.

Are you using a Windows 10 or Windows 11 machine?

Does the issue happen to your other games?

Be sure to check again your Windows updates and also get all available updates from the Microsoft Store. Try to repair and verify the game files as well. You may also reinstall the gaming services app if that helps.
