    Error: ‘ Local cache is full’, therefore achievements not unlocking / progress not saved


    Help! Since several days I’ve got this system message saying: ‘ Local cache is full’ and now my achievements are no longer unlocking nor progressed (tested this with multiple games).

    When I click to solve this error, it goes to the network settings. However, I’ve tried multiple actions, with no results. Things I’ve tried:

    - reset mac-adress

    - reset network

    - soft reset Xbox

    - turning of ‘ instant-on’ modus

    - unplugging power, waiting 10 minuts, and plugging it in again

    - and multiple reboots off course.

    I hope someone knows a solution!

    Unblocking Achievements

    What others were trying to tell you was that when you joined your friends game he probably had Cheats turned on in the game, which disables achievements. When you exited and saved progress it saved your game with the cheats turned on. There is no virus affecting
    their games, it is just people not knowing what they are doing. Now unfortunately because your saved game has cheats turned on, they only way to continue unlocking achievements is to start a whole new game. This is not PSN, there are no virus's ( virii?)

    Unable to Clear Local Cache.

    The notification "The Local Cache is almost full, acheivements, stats and leaderboards will not be saved" notification began appearing, to which I then attempted the list found in my OP, which none of them were successful at resolving the issue, not even
    a partial factory reset. The Local Cache is now full, and I receive the notification that it is full and that achievements, stats and leaderboard data will no longer be saved.

    I am looking for a way besides a factory reset in which to clear the Local Cache so that I can continue playing my games offline.

    So I cleared the cache, and unfortunately still the same problem, where the achievement is unlocked but is not counting towards the overall games progress and score. Would deleting my save and replaying maybe fix?

    Try reconnecting it to Xbox Live.

    That should solve it.

    I think if you go into settings you can clear clean out cache
