Error insert disc

I am getting this error

"If you have a game disc, insert it now. Otherwise, make sure you’re signed in to Xbox Live. If you don’t have rights for playing it, you’ll need to buy it at the Xbox Games Store."

I can see the game icon on the bottom right but when I tried to click on it to load the game, I am getting that error. This only happens when I turn on my console and the game disc is already inside. To fix this problem I have to reinsert the disc or do
a hard restart to load the game.

I was wondering if this is a software/known issue. Should I wait for software update or should I just get my console send in for repair?

I ran into a issue with my console where it would not read disc. I called support and they couldn't fix it so there after I got off the phone with them I swapped out games between Diablo3 and titan fall over and over again and eventually my diisc started
reading so is it a update issue or is it a console issue?

I do believe this is a known issue and is being worked on for the next software update. I'm part of the update preview beta testing program, and I do recall seeing this issue (or one extremely similar) on the list of known issues being worked on.

 

same problem here, only happens when i turn on the one, other than that works fine, is pretty annoying though

Ya, it's part of the Beta update. They have a whole thread on it in the Beta Forums.

 

My games just never load. The Xbox just keeps saying "insert disc" on the bottom right icon and whenever I take out the disc and put it back in it does not fix it every so often the game will work but if I want to play a different game it will not work for
a while.

 

If anybody can give me any information on why this is happening that would be amazing. Thank You.

 

I just lift the front of the xbox one up at a 45deg angle while inserting a game disc or bluray movie, it gets detected that way for some reason...very odd reason
