Error, Error, Error - Signing In, Connecting, Power ON

I've had about 10 different error codes since last night around 11p.m. pst. Could be signing in, trying to watch Netflix, play a game, or just sitting on the home screen. Is there any kind of status report or eta from Microsoft when these issues will be
fixed? I've heard the rumors about a group knocking it offline. It would be nice to hear something so I would quit trying to connect. Especially when I have some friends playing as I write this.

Microsoft looking into Error Code 0x8004888d

I haven't seen this error yet, but a lot of people aren't able to connect to live. Maybe you are among the people suffering from error code "0x8004888d". It pops up whenever someone tries to sign into their account. So far the news is that Microsoft is working hard to fix the issue. So are you having the problems?

credentials? isnt that like your accont info?

Try to go on xbox.com and sign into it and see if u have any messages. might just need to verify an email or something

Finally signed in, started up Destiny and during character selection - Error lost connection to partner services

 

Just played my first match in the Crucible on Destiny. Hopefully things are back to normal

 

Connections have been going on and off for various regions at various times for the past 2 days. Microsoft has only made one official announcement so far which was to contact support for troubleshooting methods. What you're experiencing is happening to many
people with myself included. Microsoft is looking in to the issue to make sure it doesn't happen again though. If your connection cuts out, the best thing to do is to follow troubleshooting steps and if it doesn't work, just wait it out.

 

Error 8015190E is new one. Had trouble off and on all evening. Just thought I would update my error thread.

 

I've been an XBOX live subscriber since the first month it was offered on the original XBOX without a lapse in service. The fun days of MechAssault. I've never experienced an issue like this before. Hope they get this fixed soon.
