    They're aware of this new error and they're currently trying to fix it. They should email when they have.

    try and sign in on windows live id.Say you forgot your password and want it reset.They will email you a link to change it. Hope you fix it ,my dads having a problem like this but the live id/ email for his profile is gone dead.

    Click on the blue link under the SignIn button which says
    Can't access your account

    Follow the reset instructions there.

    hey there randomwinter1, it's so frustrating. maybe you're not using the correct info exactly as it is on file? you can reset the password on live.com too if that'll help.
