Error E101

Stayed green screen for hours -> safe mode and recovery to factory -> error e200 -> tried use offline update tool -> didn't work, Error E101.

So my console is totally dead now? Please help

E101 is usually just an update error, can you let us know if you did a offline update. The following link will help run you through this.

yes I followed the solution steps and tried offline updating my console through usb device, but failed. It simply won't update; the progress bar flashed but was followed immediately by "wrong" and e101 error

 

Hi Try using the offline update tool to download osu2 then followed osu1 if you haven't already.

Tried both osu1 and osu2. Neither can do .. Still won't update: "something wrong" error e101

I am having the same problem, since i update my xbox by the last preview update...

 

Me too. got the update this afternoon and no go since then. I've tried the OSU1 update so far, downloading OSU2 now thanks to this link

 

Can you fix it daniel? microsoft only say use osdu but their solution its only trash, i try the same process and did not work! They say i need to send my console by paying 100 dollars to repair a problem their cause!

 

Did anyone help and resolve these issues for you- im having exactly the same issue since a preview update!- I too am not willing to pay £100 repair fee for something i didnt cause- i want off the preview programme if this is the service we get!!! really
