    Red Dead Redemption Error Message Help

    I popped in my copy of RDR and everything went fine, but when I got to the main menu it stated I had to download a profile in order to save.

    So I sign in, get the "hi Tony72495!" message, and it starts downloading my profile info.

    Then when it gets to about 75%, an error message pops up that says "Sorry, Xbox Live profiles cannot be downloaded right now. Try again later" and I'm kicked back to the start menu.

    I'm using the 2 disc GOTY edition of that makes any difference.

    wtf is going on!!!!!!!!!!

    It told me to try downloading my profile again...error while downloading it, now i have no profile until it is fixed.

    I did what you said and it worked! This could either be that I am able due to upgrades finishing, or your method works! Anyone who this doesn't work for, I was told by an agent that xbox upgrades are occurring and that will be the reason for any problems!

    You may want to escalate this to an engineer via the XBL phone supper at 1800 4MY XBOX. You could do that, or privately message one of the Official Support Members such at Mister Gwyther. I have had luck getting problems fixed by having them escalated via
    phone support. The answers typically tend to come within a day or two after the question is asked.

    Delete your profile(profile only > Re-download it. If the issues persists, clear the system cache and re-download the profile again.

    make a LIVE-TEST in the network configurations, your NAT must be open...!!!

    if it is not open u can get problems with dl your profile...

    this ports need to be forwarding:

    • Port 88 (UDP)
    • Port 3074 (UDP und TCP)
    • Port 53 (UDP und TCP)
    • Port 80 (TCP)
