Error codes on new console

My family's Xbox console has not worked since May. I tried everything on the website and after many attempts an OSU1 update worked ....but only for 24 hours. On resumption the console
asked for another update and this has never succeeded. The console XBox One X was bought in November at the Microsoft Store at Oxford Circus. I have been advised by an expert Gamer to take it in for repair. However all stores are currently closed. Do I still
ship it?

This very much sounds like a hardware fault and because of the store being closed you will have to send it in for repair.

If its brand new its probably updating in the background , I would hard reset it (hold xbox logo for 8 seconds) when it powers down , unplug it for 5 minutes , then bring it back up ...at that point you could try again or just wait a little while before
you try it again...

You might want to try doing a factory reset. Most times when you're having issues with space on the hard drive, its possible someone might have had the console before you. It could even be corrupt files on the HDD. Factory resets tend to fix these issues,
or you could try clearing the persistent storage and local saved games if you decide not to do the factory reset too.
