Error codes & Offline update

I got error code E101 so i did go to the error code solutions and i downloaded the offline software update file but when i want to extract the files it says there’s nothing in the offline system update file to extract

This error code is related to an update issue. The offline diagnostic tool is recommended to fix this issue

Update: I've concluded the hard drive is probably bad. After many hours, I have been able to get to the Troubleshooter and have tried to do factory resets as well as offline updates of OSU1 and factory reset. The soft factory reset has just come back
with other error codes as have the offline updates. Sometimes the offline updates successfully complete but come back with error codes (ex. 200 and 103). The offline updates often get to a point where each additional % of progress is very very slow. You can
hear the hard drive working hard when that happens. The error codes seem to indicate failure of offline updates. So I have given up. Luckily I realized my 1 year warranty was not up yet so I will be sending the unit back for warranty repair.

these are all the same error codes i was getting before it was sent for repair

i was able to get the troubleshoot mode to come up. i was able to download the update on to the USB.

once i plugged the USB into the xbox and selected update offline. i receieve an error code automatically.

System Error: E101 00000504 8B050041.
