Error codes and 3 chats with support - can't launch apps or games, blames insider program

I bought an Xbox One from my best friend 3 months ago. Everything has been working fine until two days ago.

I now get the error 0x803f8001 when I try to launch an app and some games (Netflix, Amazon Video, Hulu Plus, Twitch, Youtube, the Insider Hub, all the apps; Can't launch Destiny, Forza, and some others, but can launch Unraveled, ESO, Game of Thrones)

I made sure Xbox Live was connected and that my Gold membership was showing, that I was signed in, that internet and multiplayer connectivity were working. I power cycled. I double checked that it was set as my home console and that other accounts were signed
out. Nothing worked.

Went to support, was told to do an offline system update, starting with OSU2 the OSU1 - didn't work, OSU2 crapping out at 5% with an E101 00000504 something error. Back to support chat, was told to go ahead and try OSU1 - error changes to E101 905 something,
crapping out at 80% twice.

Back to support - where they have me power cycle again, and then go back to check that I'm the owner of all the games (spoiler - I am). Turns out when I bought the console from my friend, I wound up enrolled in the preview/insider program and the support
staff think that might be where my problem is.

Only they couldn't tell me how to get out of it. I was sent a dead link and then told to launch the app (I can't - it's the whole reason I went to support!). The link to request to be removed is broken on the Insider Program FAQ page - takes you to an "ooops"
page. Support told me to post on the forums, but not where or to whom I should be directing the question.

Can someone please tell me what to do so I can get back to using my xbox? Thank you in advance

Error Code: 0x8027025a after update

Hello, like the title says. I recently downloaded a Xbox One Update, I am on a Xbox One s, and error code: 0x8027025a keeps popping up. I can't launch any games or apps. I tried a number of possible fixes, from the ones on the websites" help page for this
error code and others methods, Such as factory reset with the keep games and apps function, power cycles, restarting, removing my account from the Xbox, restarting again and re-downloading my account. The last method was a temporary fix and with mixed results.
I was able to launch a game, but once I close said game to play another game. The error code returns and I can't launch any other games/apps. I can't even re-launch the game that just worked a few minutes ago.

I'm sorry to hear about the troubles you're experiencing. What is the particular error message (or code) that you get when you try to launch a game? And what exactly happens when you try to launch a game?

If it's truly a home console issue, you'll need to reach out to

Sorry to hear about the Insider Program trouble. Have you by chance had your friend try to sign in to access the app and opt out of it? That would be the quickest method. Also, when you contacted supporter, did they have you attempt resetting your console to
factory settings, or did you just attempt the offline update? Keep us in the loop
