Error Code XBOS1004

Discus and support Error Code XBOS1004 in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hi. Someone bought me an 12 Month Xbox Live Gold card and when I try and use it, all it does is give me an error XBOS1004 but doesn't say anything...     Hi. Someone bought me an 12 Month Xbox Live Gold card and when I try and use it, all it does is give me an error XBOS1004 but doesn't say anything other than try again later. Does anyone know what this means?

    hello.

    It's not possible to redeem my xbox live 12 months gold subscription card.

    It gives you the error in the xbox : this code in not yet active. contact the active merchant to active this code .

    error when you are activating the microsoft gift card code

    Ocurred this Error xbos1004. I do not know what you mean and I wanted help solving it or you solve it otherwise I lost money buying.

    What is error you receive on your PC? The error on the console could be due Invaild card do you make sure where ever you purchased the membership that they activated the card at the register?

    I would give it about 30 mins and try again it could be because the delay of activation time from the store to Microsoft. If you still can not get it to work on both PC or Console I can give you a link to Xbox Support Chat and they could help you as well
    if you are still unable to get it to redeem.
