error code xbos-5002 redeeming xbox 12month gold

Hello everyone, i bougth one xbox live gold membership of 12 months but

when i try to redeem my code y have an issue, "Something going wrong"

try yo change ur redeem code later, and then give me the Error Code

"XBOS-5002" but when im looking it i cant find something about my

trouble can some one help me?

I have the same problem and some severely disappointed kids at this point. I tried adding the error codes in and its not recognized.

Well the issue has not been resolved. I too have got the error code when trying to enter in my xbox gold membership code.

Not sure if it is caused by the limited game service Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage
