error code xbos-5002 redeeming xbox 12month gold

Hi can anyone help me?

I bought a 12 month gold code from cdkeys, they say it is a world wide code. When o try and redeem it recognizes that it is a 12 month gold membership but when i click confirm i get the error code xbos-5002. I have had these codes for the last couple of
years and they've all worked so far. cdkeys say i need to take it up with microsoft but can't get through to chat and that automated chat bot is of no help. all my billiing is correct and no outstanding gold on my account. (well there is no as just bought
the 1 month for £1 while i try sort this out) does anyone know what i need to do?

I have exactly the same thing this evening. All my billing is correct too.

 

I bought a 6 month code today and am having the same issue with the same code (XBos-5002).

I’ve been having the same exact problem!! But it’s funny that they’ll take your money no problem at all!! In fact I’ve been having this problem for about 3-4 months

Agreed same response the Error Code Search tool indicates "code not found".
