    Hello.

    I can not run an xbox live gold subscription for 1 month. The message pops up all the time: Something went wrong. And below the error code: XBOS-1005

    I buy a global code for xbox live (1 month code), and when i try to activate gives me a xbos 1005 error... i have this account for years and never make me any trouble, this is my first, i dont know what to do, change region, create new account :/...

    Remeeming errors can be caused by issues on the account itself. Be sure to check if your billing information is correct at
    http://billing.microsoft.com and also check
    http://account.microsoft.com/services for any outstanding amount issues, these need to be sorted prior to being able to redeem codes.

    After that try redeeming the code on both xbox console and via xbox.com/redeemcode

    Also check that the Xbox Live account , the console and code all match region wise, using different regions for any of them cause issues too.

    If you can't find anything wrong and it is still not working, best thing to do is to contact official Xbox Support via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat at
    Contact Us | Xbox Support they can do a more indepth look into this issue.

    I bought a "Xbox 360 3 Months Membership Live Gold Worldwide" code but every time i try and redeem it it says "Sorry something went wrong try again later" and under it "Xbos 1005" this was 2 weeks (!!!!) ago and its still not redeeming. Does anyone know

    Basically the same issue but I am receiving XBOS-3011
