Error code whenever I try to move/copy a game to External HD (0x80070070)

So I filed up my XO internal drive with games. When I tried to install a new game it said "To install this game or app, uninstall something else, then try installing again. (0x80070070)"

Fine, I go out and buy an External HD, the 'seagate Game drive for xbox' official drive.

Plug it in, install the media player, and now to copy/move my games to it.

GET THE SAME ERROR "To install this game or app, uninstall something else, then try installing again. (0x80070070)"

It appears I cannot move/copy anything to my new external drive?? It does not matter how big or small the game is, it simply gives me that same error every time..so frustrating. It's basically a brick connected to the xbone right now.

Please help!

Error 0x87e00008 Xbox One

Hello good afternoon. Since I updated my Xbox One I have been having a problem moving my games to an External HD. Whenever I try to move a game to my External HD I get the error 0x87e00008, and before I was not having this error while moving my games

The system however is saying there's still like 78% space left

Ok, so i managed to find the solution.

You need to format the external drive so it can handle games and apps. I gathered that installing the media player was the formatting. nope. You have to go into settings storage, select the drive and then format so it can handle games and apps. then it will
work fine. I hope this is helpful for others down the track.

In that case, because you trying to move, if you want really on the external HD, try to uninstall them, and then install them directly on the external HD. You can find this options in Storage Settings.

Somehow, when I uninstall a game and install again, I can move the same pro HD normally, but this is happening with pretty much every game I'm downloading lately. thank you all for the answers
